Partners make offers and decisions; Windpoint passes requests along, and every local figure names its source.
Windpoint's place between an owner and a funding partner
Windpoint Business Funding is a broker, not a lender. It collects a business owner's funding request in Ardmore, OK and passes it to funding partners; it does not make loans, advance funds or decide whether a request is approved. Any agreement is between the business and the partner that offers it.
Offers, costs and decisions belong to the partner
The amount, the rate or factor, fees, the term, the payment schedule, collateral and any personal guarantee are set by the partner in its written offer. Nothing on this site is an offer of credit or a commitment to fund. Read the whole agreement, including what happens after a late payment, before signing.
Card-sales advances described on this site
A merchant cash advance is the sale of a share of future card or deposit receipts to a provider, and it is not a loan. The provider collects its share from those receipts until the agreed amount has been collected; there is no interest rate and no fixed term. The provider's agreement governs, whatever a page on this site says in general terms.
How the figures and worked examples were made
Local figures come from the US Census Bureau: County Business Patterns (2023), ZIP Code Business Patterns (2023), Nonemployer Statistics (2024) and the American Community Survey 2020-2024 five-year estimates. Each figure names its program, year and geography; county figures describe Carter County, OK, not Ardmore, OK by itself. Paragraphs marked "Illustration only, invented figures" use made-up amounts and rates to show the arithmetic and are neither quotes nor offers.
Questions for your own tax adviser, attorney or accountant
Pages here explain how funding types work in general terms. Whether a payment is deductible, how a lease is booked, or how far a personal guarantee reaches depends on the business and the owner, and those answers come from your own tax adviser, attorney or accountant rather than from Windpoint or a funding partner.
